Melrose Police Report A freak accident resulted in one injury on Melrose's Main Street at 10:20 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1. Harvey Mayers, was having trouble starting his 1996 Ford F150 as it was parked in front of Englemeyer Surveying, 307 Main St. E. He had the hood up and was attempting to start the truck when the vehicle started to move in reverse. He tried to reach in to stop it, and was dragged about 50 feet by the door.
