Coping with cancer
Albany - Jim Stueve has two sons, Jimmy and Jon, who have made him a grandfather.

He has a girlfriend, Paula Payne, he enjoys spending time with.

He has a hobby farm in rural Abany, with an array of animals.

He has fond memories of a job as Albany police chief in a town he grew up in.

What he may not have is time.

The Albany Area Home Health and Hospice and Albany Area Hospital are sponsoring a memorial service at the Albany Elementary School Gymnasium this Sunday, Feb. 26 at 1:30 p.m.

Flamingos flocking for AAHMC fundraiser
In order to get closer to the goal of a new radiology unit, a "Flamingo Flocking" fundraiser will be held during the months of February and March at Albany Area Hospital and Medical Center.

Raivo's mill art project chosen
Members of the Holdingford Fire and Rescue Department have elected a new chief. The new chief is Keith Hommerding and is a 20 year member of the department serving in many different positions in the department during his tenure. Please congratulate Keith and wish him well in his new position. We know he will do a fine job.
