Level 3 Predatory Offender no longer moving to Stearns County
UPDATE: According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office on Aug. 20, Kulp is no longer moving to Stearns County. He will be moving to a location in Hennepin County. The community meeting in Padua has been cancelled.
Level 3 predatory offender moving to rural Sauk Centre
Community meeting scheduled for Aug. 25 in Padua
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office has released information pursuant to Minnesota Statute 244.052 to the community regarding Cyrus Eby Kulp, a Level 3 Predatory Offender. Kulp, age 73, will be moving to Raymond Township, south of Sauk Centre. His address is in the vicinity of 465th Avenue and County Road 192 in rural Sauk Centre.
Kulp will be moving to the area on Aug. 26. According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Kulp has a history of engaging in sexual contact with females ages 4-7. The victims knew him.
Kulp is not wanted by the police and at this time has served the sentenced imposed on him, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
A community notification meeting has been scheduled at the Padua Pub reception hall on Monday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. Representatives from the Department of Corrections and the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office will be available to provide the community with information on public safety.
