AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE 82

BUILDING CODE AND APPENDIX A

 

The City Council for the City of Albany, HEREBY ORDAINS as follows:

1. That Section 82.02 of the Albany City Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

“Section 82.02:  REQUIRED FIRE ACCESS EQUIPMENT.  Every commercial or industrial building or multiple-family dwelling, as defined in City Code Section 80.03, Subd. 37  located within the City of Albany shall be equipped with a Knox Box approved by the Fire Chief.  The cost of the Knox Box shall be the responsibility of the property owner.  The cost shall be determined by the Council and established in Appendix A.” 

2. That Appendix A Albany Schedule of Fees & Charges shall be amended by the addition of following:

This amendment shall become effective upon adoption and publication.

The Albany City Council will hold a public hearing at 6:30 PM or as soon as thereafter on Wednesday, December 4th, at the Albany City Hall, 400 Railroad Avenue, Albany, MN 56307 to consider approving the 2014 budget and the amount of property taxes it is proposing to collect to pay for the costs of services the City will provide in 2014.

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Minnesota Statute, Section 394.26, that the Stearns County Board of Adjustment, in and for the County of Stearns, will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, December 12, 2013, in Conference Room 121 CDE, Stearns County Service Center West, 3301 County Road 138, Waite Park, MN, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Purpose of the hearing is to consider the granting or denial of variances from the Stearns County Zoning Ordinance, Stearns County Subdivision Ordinance, Stearns County Sewage Treatment Ordinance, Stearns County Recreational Campground Ordinance, Stearns County Lodging Establishments Ordinance, Stearns County Childrens Camps Ordinance and the Stearns County Manufactured Home Parks Ordinance as follows:
