Holding Township Notice

Snow Removal Policy 2013-2014

1. Snowplow will go out as soon as possible. Township will alternate routes.

2. Plow will open all roads and then open township driveways (use red flag to signal snowplow operator).

3. Sanding will be done on intersections, curves and hills at the supervisors’ transgression.

4. Township is not liable for fences damaged by the plow that are on road right-of-ways.

5. Snow from private roads may not be dumped on township right-of-ways. Landowners will be held liable for all damages and injuries incurred by snow piles pushed on road edges.

6. Private driveways will not be plowed for those who have outstanding snow plowing bills.

Residents may call Duane Kunstleben, chairman of the board, for emergency snow plowing at 320-290-3062.
