Brian Anthony Simpson, 36, Albany died as the result of an automobile accident Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 8:41 p.m.

The accident occurred on Stearns Co. Rd. 186 and 375th Ave., in Getty Township when a 2000 Ford Taurus station wagon driven by Nathan J. Emanuelson, 16, West Union, traveling east on Co. Rd. 186, when it ran off the road on the right side. The vehicle hit a field approach and rolled several times, ejecting all three occupants, including Joseph J. Vearrier, 15, Sauk Centre.

Two occupants were transported to St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre and the third was transported to the Melrose Hospital.

Simpson was transported to St. Michael's Hospital and then was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital, where he died.

Stearns County Sheriff's Department, along with the Melrose Police, Sauk Centre Police, MN State Patrol, Sauk Centre Fire/Rescue and Sauk Centre ambulance assisted.
